Technip’s Rotary Steam Tube Bundle Dryer uses indirect steam heating , where steam flows inside the tubes while the product passes over the tube surfaces. The rotating shell, supported with baffles, controls the movement of material over the tubes, enabling gentle tumbling and uniform drying . The combination of slow rotation and internal baffles arrangement ensures gentle agitation , promoting rapid moisture evaporation by conduction , without direct contact between the product and heating medium. This design minimizes product degradation while maintaining consistent moisture content throughout each batch or continuous operation.
